Payment Options
Safer Hearing accepts payments via BACS (Bank Transfer) or all major Credit Cards via our online store.
Should you wish to pay via BACS, please contact us with your purchase requirements. We will then issue an invoice for payment which will include our bank account details. Products will then be dispatched once payment has been made.
Paying via a credit card can be achieved via our online sales portal. Follow the process through 'Add to cart' to 'Checkout' and you will be asked to enter your address details and your credit card details for secure payment. For additional security your credit card details are never stored on www.saferhearing.com.
All online payments are handled outside of this site by Stripe, an independent company offering fully PCI compliant secure payment services.

Guarantees & Warranties
All manufacturer normal guarantees and warranties apply. Please see the product documentation for the specific manufacturer warranty period and terms. Repaired items include a 6-month warranty on the repair only. Second hand or obsolete items come with no warranty, but are tested to ensure they are in full working order.
Supply of Goods
It may be, that due to circumstances beyond our control, Safer Hearing are not able to guarantee the supply of goods. The acknowledgment generated to a customer at the time an order is placed is confirmation only of the details given by the customer and is not an acceptance of the order. Prices may change at any time or goods may not currently be available. Should this be the case Safer Hearing will contact the customer by e-mail or telephone within 5 working days to apprise them of the situation and give them the option to cancel the order.
Order Acknowledgement
An order placed on the website will be acknowledged as received through an 'Order Acknowledgement' sent to your e-mail address. The order becomes confirmed at the point of despatch. If there are any problems with your order, then you will be contacted directly.
Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose
Safer Hearing makes every effort to ensure that products advertised on the site are of a high quality and accurately described. If goods received are found not to be of merchantable quality or fit for the purpose as described by the manufacturer they may be returned, and a replacement (if requested and available) will be sent otherwise we will refund your monies in full.

Returns Procedures and refunds
Faulty Goods
Please return faulty goods to us at Safer Hearing 3, Ravenswood Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S40 4XS for repair or replacement within the warranty period. Exchanges will be provided at our discretion and will be replaced with the same item wherever possible.
Unwanted Items
If you decide that the item you have received is unwanted it can be returned within 14 days providing it has NOT been opened or used in any way and is in its original packaging. This is in line with the current statutory period available under consumer law. Open and used product will NOT be refunded.
Please note: When returning goods to us it is the customers duty to ensure the goods are sent on an insured service. Safer Hearing are not liable for lost parcels when returned to us. No refund can be given unless we receive your returned goods. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery Methods & Charges
Safer Hearing only charge per order and not per product ordered. The total cost of delivery will be shown on checkout.
Customs & Duty Charges
For export orders it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure you are aware of any customs/duty charges that may be made by the country of origin on delivery. Safer Hearing is not liable for any duty charges that may be incurred.
Loss or Damage
If goods are found to have been damaged in transit, then they may be returned and a replacement, if requested and if available, will be despatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. Safer Hearing must be informed within 7 days of receipt by either e-mail [email protected] or by telephone on 0333 0065 002 with confirmation in writing there-after. It is in your own interests to check the delivery immediately and notify Safer Hearing of any problems.
Non-delivery
Claims for missing items or the non-delivery of complete orders must be made within 10 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it. P.O.D.s are supplied by the carrier and elapse after 10 days. Therefore, any claims for non-delivery after 10 days from the date of despatch have elapsed cannot be accepted.
Data Protection Act
The information requested on this site may be used by Safer Hearing to confirm, update and enhance our customer records. Your Data will never be passed onto any 3rd party requests. However, information may also be disclosed and used for fraud detection purposes.
Title
Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. The responsibility and risk in the Goods shall pass to the buyer at the point of delivery and Safer Hearing shall have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods thereafter.
VAT
All our store prices are VAT exclusive. Orders exported to countries where VAT is exempt will not be charged. Our UK VAT Number GB 303 0634 56.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and all contracts by Safer Hearing for the sale of the goods shall be deemed in all respects to be contracts made, performed, and contracted according to English Law and any dispute will be determined only by the courts in this jurisdiction.
